Birthday 2008
My birthday this past summer was one of my favorites. I typically love to have a huge birthday bash and to be surrounded by all my loved ones, but this year I did just the opposite. I went away with one of my best friends on a little road trip/ferry ride to the Kitsap Peninsula.

View from the ferry, Mt. Rainier in the distance.
Our first stop was in the quaint little town of Poulsbo. We ate scrumptious fish & chips at J.J.’s, played with Wrangler the dog (yes, he was awesomely named after a Jeep), poked around in all the cute mom & pop shops, and walked along the waterfront park and marina. I even bought some cute birdie stamps at a local stamp boutique, Rubber Soul.

Leaving the batteries at the beginning of the hike back down the hillside, there is an amazing view of the light house.
