I have a new friend who lives on my dining room screen. Luckily, he knows to stay outside. Mr. June Bug is surprisingly pretty, and is the largest beetle I have ever seen (just over an inch long, and half inch wide). I can’t help but wonder if I am just as entertaining for him as he is for me…

Many times they wil crawl up on the screens to die, if he stays for a while this is probably the case.
Just leave him there and enjoy the beauty…

Just happened catch this while surfing randomly. I realize this post is about a month out of date but I thought you might want to know your friend is a female. (it’s the antenna that give it away, the males antenna are huge by comparison.) It was probably attracted by a near by light. They are quite harmless. It has probably long since departed after laying its eggs. Hope you enjoyed it.
